The George and Dragon Hotel Kirkbymoorisde has been sympathetically refurbished so that it loses none of its “olde worlde charm” but can cater for the 21st century modern requirements. The entire bar and bistro has wireless Internet connection which is free to use. The bar has an outstanding Italian coffee machine allowing you to enjoy an authentic cappuccino if it’s too early to sample one of our many cask marquee accredited hand pulled ales!

To the rear of the bar is the delightful new courtyard area, with comfortable wooden furniture, plants galore and water feature.

The bar with a beamed ceiling, blazing log fire and cosy seating, serves five well-kept hand-pulled real ales, selection of international lagers, twelve wines by the glass and an extensive stock of Malt Whiskies and liqueurs.

Sports enthusiasts will find a collection of Yorkshire cricket memorabilia; photographs, autographed cricket bats, prints and paraphernalia.
