Situated at the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park, halfway between the A1 and Scarborough and just over half an hour's pleasant drive north of York, Kirkbymoorside is the perfect central location for touring this delightful area.

You will find The George & Dragon Hotel in the centre of the Market Place on the left hand side as you approach up the hill from the roundabout on the A170. On arrival you should pass through the old archway at the side into the private car park at the rear. The entrance to the hotel is also at the rear.
